Welcome!

WMLUG's goal is to provide a friendly atmosphere to learn about using GNU/Linux and free (libre) and open-source software for the home and enterprise user.

We meet the last Thursday of the month at the New Horizons Computer Learning Center located at 630 Kenmoor Ave SE, Suite 201, Grand Rapids MI 49546.  The meeting starts at 6:00 pm and typically runs for 2 hours.  In addition to group discussions, a presentation is usually given to demonstrate a utility or a "How-To".  Pizza, pop and snacks are provided. Donations are welcome to help with the cost.  An is appreciated to help determine the amount of food to get.

Please send me an to get on the mailing list. For the most part, only WMLUG meeting and other event announcements from related techical groups are sent to the mailing list.
